About us
Send Something was born from a simple yet powerful observation: creative talent shouldn't get lost in overflowing inboxes. As a songwriter and producer, co-founder Oz experienced firsthand the frustration of sending demos into the void, never knowing if they'd even been heard. This common industry problem sparked an idea: what if we could transform how creative submissions are managed and reviewed, making the process better for everyone involved?
Founded by Oz and Ally, who previously worked together growing DesignMyNight's successful reservation management system used by thousands of venues worldwide, Send Something brings deep expertise in both the creative industries and enterprise software development. While Oz led customer success for top-tier clients, Ally spearheaded the engineering team, giving them unique insights into building intuitive, scalable solutions for managing high-volume submissions.
What sets us apart is our commitment to both sides of the submission process. For organisations, we've created intelligent tools that streamline review workflows and reduce administrative overhead. At the heart of this is ASH (Automated Submissions Handler), our industry-first AI assistant that helps identify and prioritise submissions that align with your criteria, helping you discover the right talent faster.
For creators, we've designed a platform that respects their work and time, ensuring submissions don't disappear into a black hole. Our system provides transparency and improved communication, fostering better relationships between creators and organisations.
Built by creatives for creatives, Send Something is more than just a submission management platform – it's a bridge connecting talent with opportunity. We're here to ensure no great creative work goes unnoticed, while making the discovery process more efficient and enjoyable for everyone involved.
